EBN #14 Nominee Photographer Robbie Quinn

Written by Crystal Walker
Take a look through the eyes of the photographer and not the eyes of the camera lens. Step inside the world of Robbie Quinn Photography, where you will see images that come from what’s inside of Robbie Quinn’s eye of photography. Robbie was always tainted with the desire for photography, without even realizing.
By being involved in the entertainment world where he was a concert promoter and a music manager, photography was always there with him. Starting off first handling a 1-10 camera is really when everything began to change for him. He began shooting and from teaching himself day to day, he mastered his craft, and throughout that time, when he was just using photography to make extra money on the side. At least until he received such a positive reaction from clients. His clientele started to build up quite nicely. Looking at a picture through Robbie’s eyes he shows that a picture is worth more than a 1000 words. Although he likes the saying, he just feels that can’t be expressed by a title. Cameras don’t make the photographer at all. Robbie has taken many pictures off of his IPhone alone and has had better outcome than cameras that have been used over many years. Robbie work has been used and shown through numerous of companies, such as CNN, CMT, The Tennessean, Nashville Lifestyle, People Magazine, and plenty more. Now being nominated for photographer of the year for the 2013 EBN Awards he not only feels the love, but he feels loved. EBN #13 Nominee Model Tiffany Kay

Written by Crystal Walker
It’s about the artists’ vision, not about the model. When working with Tiffany Kay, she will deliver exactly what the artists’ eye has envisioned. Born and raised in Nashville, TN Tiffany is now 21 years old and she has been a model since she was 16 years old. Tiffany was always picked on in school at an early age. Her looks didn’t measure up to her fellow peers, according to them. However, she learned to embrace her really tall long legs, flat hair, and freckles.
Once she found and gained the confidence within herself, it started to shine and people noticed. Tiffany started receiving all types of compliments and many people asked if she was a professional model. She came to the realization that she cold uses her unique looks and style to pursue a possible career in modeling. Now Tiffany began to embark on her journey at an age where the business could really make or break your self confidence as a young teenager. Remembering her first couple of jobs, and how they made her feel. She learned how to receive and accept criticism, and how to not let her feelings get involved. Like, when she was told she needed to lose 4 inches. Tiffany didn’t let those words beat her up on the inside as a person. She learned to consider what people might have to say and not look at it in a negative light. Tiffany knew she was the key into bringing out the artists’ image, as a model. She was comfortable enough with herself to step outside of “her” views and deliver the message. Tiffany Kay uses her profession to help achieve her goals. She is really involved with animal shelters. She is trying to help spread the word to others that an animal at an animal shelter isn’t any different from the average pet. Tiffany stresses how the animals that come from the shelter will show you just as much love, affection, and appreciation. Tiffany Kay has a very huge heart and she shows that everyday she gets a chance to. Aside from her days at the animal shelter she still intends to keep a full schedule when it comes to her modeling. Tiffany Kay has worked with different companies such as Pinups N Lace Cover Girl, Cannabliss Girlz, Haunted House Gore, and Devil’s Dungeon. Now being nominated for the 2013 EBN Awards as model of the year, it makes her feel that all her work is really paying off. EBN #12 Danalia Fashion

Written by Crystal Walker
“It’s a scary thing to be self-employed.” Coming from fashion designer, Danielle, of Danalia fashion she explains how when being the boss, there is no one to blame, everything will always fall upon you, with no fingers to point. Danielle comes from a family of design. From her father, uncles, and even her granddad, they were all tailors. I guess it’s easy to say how she chose her career in fashion herself. As a high school student she did dabble in music and theatre. Her true passion was lying within the hands of fashion. Attending school Omore College of Design, where she graduated and has had some of her own fashion shown within the school’s fashion shows. Danielle’s unique way of style consists of bright colors, sequences, and beading. Not wanting to be “inside the box” with her designs, she makes sure there is no box around.
This in the end creates a very inimitable line. 3 years prior is when Danielle initially considered herself to be a fashion designer. While in college she created an online account with etsy.com there she was able to illustrate all of her fashion. From handmade, vintage, and classified, those were the styles of clothing you would see. Holding on strong for 3 years now she has a lot on her plate. Even when it comes to fashion shows she tries to put her fashion out there at least once or twice a year. Not only has she had her fashion shown at her college’s fashion show, but also at “Naked With Out Us” 2011 fashion show. That show was a unique way of artists and designers showing their talents off to the city. This year she has only completed one fashion show, which was June 2012 All White Affair. With so much being done she feels it is very important to make yourself exclusive, by any means. Right now Danielle’s selective style has more of a resort ware-summery clothing type of feel. She has taken this keen sense of style and decided to go with swim wear. In the fashion world as any designer may know, you must develop that tough skin. Danielle explains, when receiving criticism you have to know how to separate your personal feelings from business. She informs you that it may take a few years to develop that mental thought, but one must also know when to listen to your gut and keep doing what you are doing. Danielle faced that challenge herself when it came to her swim wear. She was told any negative fixation that came about having a swim wear line. Even if the advice seems genuine you have to know how to follow your gut. Danielle’s gut has led her fashion into the doors of Studio 615 Boutique and soon she will be sending pieces to K-Tresha Boutique in Memphis, TN. Nonetheless, none of this would be possible if it wasn’t for her strong family foundation from her parents. Her parents taught her and her brother to be strong-minded, tough, go getters, and with that type of support behind you, more than anything is possible.
